H.E. Ms. Ngedikes Olai Uludong

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Permanent Representative of Palau to the United Nations


Ngedikes Olai Uludong, began her post as Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Palau to the United Nations on 21, March 2017.

Prior to her appointment, Ms. Uludong was Palau’s Ambassador to the European Union and Belgium. Serving concurrently as Ambassador on Climate Change, she was the lead negotiator for the Alliance of Small Island States on the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change between 2012 and 2014.

She is serving concurrently as Ambassador on Climate Change, Permanent Representative of Palau to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and the non-resident Ambassador of Palau to the Republic of Portugal and the Republic of Cuba.

Ms. Uludong holds a Master of Science in Climate Change and a Post Graduate Diploma on Climate Change, a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Guam and an Associate of Arts degree in Science from the Northern Marianas College.

She has also been elected as Vice President for the 75th Session of the General Assembly.
